DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY RELATIONS
The mission of the Department of Community Relations is to initiate, cultivate and oversee events and outreach to the Central Florida business community with an emphasis on partnership opportunities.
The department serves as a liaison between the university and external organizations such as chambers of commerce, governments and non-profit agencies. As requested by the university president, it represents the president on various boards and committees throughout Central Florida.
OFFICE OF CONSTITUENT RELATIONS
The mission of the Office of Constituent Relations is to build relationships with key university constituents on behalf of the university president, the university provost, the vice president of community relations and the UCF Foundation by developing, managing and facilitating various events and activities, which provide donor stewardship, enhance UCF’s image and encourage financial support of the university.
METROPOLITAN CENTER FOR REGIONAL STUDIES
The Metropolitan Center for Regional Studies actively promotes the concept of the engaged metropolitan research university; the full realization of the partnership between campus and community; and the development of an informed and objective body of knowledge for a region intimately interconnected in history and geography, environment, work force, and a shared economic and social future.
OFFICE OF THE SPECIAL ASSISTANT TO THE PRESIDENT FOR GLOBAL PERSPECTIVES
The mission of the Office of the Special Assistant to the President for Global Perspectives is to sharpen UCF’s international focus. The office helps advance UCF’s goal of providing international emphasis to curricula and research. In addition, it works to expand the university’s efforts to enlarge Central Florida’s awareness and understanding of the interconnectedness of the global community.
